I'm looking for confirmation for Harriet A Lent, born ~1884, my maternal grandmother.

What I have is census records from 1915 on and a birth record without a first name, about the right time. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/sources/LTKP-X2N I've tracked the parents from that birth, but not sure if that was her.

The name coincidence is striking (Alice Harriet Lent b 1854) possibly an aunt? child out of marriage?

She married Oscar Bookstaver Owen and had children Alice 1911 and George1915

Any suggestions or info you have would be welcome.

Hello Again,

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?

I want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Cindy ~ WikiTree Messenger

PS Good work so far! Have you noticed on your ancestor profiles on bottom right is "Research" where you can get sources and more information? Give it a try!

Hi John,

Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles.

It looks like United States History Project would be a good fit with the tag you entered. Adding the tag United_States_History will help you get updates about activity for that project.

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Do you have some historically-significant ancestors? Look at the list of active projects to see if one fits your needs.

Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)

Hi John,

Welcome to WikiTree! You've created several duplicates for the Chesebrough family. I've proposed merges. Please look around a bit first on WikiTree before creating profiles, just to make sure there aren't already profiles for someone here. Thanks!

Thanks to every one on this site. If I can help with any information please ask. I have been doing genealogy for my own family for about 30 years. If you are looking for information on Van Deusen, Stiles, Elser, Bowerman or their related families please contact me. Most of these families are from New England, Massachusetts specifically
